After more than 30 years in global product development and visiting factories across Asia, Europe, and North America, I recently discovered something that genuinely impressed me: Morocco’s growing manufacturing ecosystem.
My connection to Morocco began through my friendship with Dikra, founder of Tactical Tactics (TT). Years ago, Dikra produced garments for my Cydney Mar Fashion Collection while she was based in Montreal. When she later returned to Morocco, she invited me to visit and explore the manufacturing landscape there.
Since then, I’ve travelled to Morocco several times, toured more than fifteen factories, and met some remarkable people. What stood out immediately was the professionalism, education, and pride of the workforce, along with the warm hospitality of the Moroccan people.

Morocco’s location is a major advantage. Just across the Mediterranean from Spain, it serves as a bridge between Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
