The Reality of being an Entrepreneur ~

I went to speak at the StartUp Canada event to discuss exporting, financing & the life of an entrepreneur.

When I was introduced, I realized that I had the perfect story to tell to the young, hopeful entrepreneurs that were attending.

I said " Exporting is easier than parking in Old Montreal. You'll have to plan ahead, leave a little early, drive around a few times, it will be more expensive than you think, you'll end up parked farther from your destination than you expected and you'll have to navigate the cobblestones in high heels."

I know SO many entrepreneurs have the starry-eyed syndrome, and yes success is possible, and it's a lot like parking in Old Montreal. 

Plan well, expect delays, more costs & and that the final leg of the journey will be like walking in high heels on cobblestone streets. 

Take your ideas, your plans and grab your courage so that you can bring your dreams to life.
